Kemble at Home is celebrating its 30thAnniversary by asking the public to nominate 10 charities to each receive a£300 donation – giving away a total of £3,000 to celebrate the three decades that Kemble at Home has been serving Herefordshire and beyond.
Dominic King, Managing Director of Kemble at Home, and son of founders Michael and Sharon King, said: “It was Christmas Day 1993, in atrocious weather, when our first carer provided essential support to our first client. Kemble at Home has grown steadily from there, and in the last 30 years we have provided care to close to 2,000 people and employed over a 1,000 care staff.”
14 members of staff have been with Kemble at Home for over10 years, with a remarkable 3 working for over 20 years. Jason Walker, Registered Managed said: “People contact Kemble for a variety of reasons; some need support round the clock and opt for the live-in services, others need a few visits a week to help with various chores around the home, and tasks that they can no longer manage, so use the visiting care services. For family members it can be reassuring to know that there are professionals regularly visiting and supporting in a caring and kind way.”
