Kemble at Home invites all members of the public to join a charity walk to raise money and awareness for the Alzheimer’s Society. The ‘Memory Walk’ takes place on Thursday 6 September 2018 from 11am to 3pm at the Belmont Country Park in Hereford.
The Memory Walk aims to raise money and awareness to support the Alzheimer’s society, the UK’s leading dementia charity. Sarah Edwards: “Thousands of people in the UK are living with Alzheimer’s or other forms of dementia. The illness affects not only those suffering from it, but also their families and loved ones. By joining the Memory Walk and donating to the Alzheimer’s society, people can offer their support.”
The Memory Walk will start and finish at the entrance to the field in the park, by the children play park. The route consists of a lap of approximately half a mile long. People can start when they want between 11am and 3pm and walk as many laps as they like. Dogs are welcome on the day.
Parking is available at the carpark just off Waterfield Road – people with wheelchairs or pushchairs may wish to access the park from Mulberry Close. Kemble at Home will make refreshments available on the day.
