Kemble at Home, has celebrated its 30thAnniversary, with over 50 clients and carers celebrating the milestone with a party held at our offices.
Kemble at Home has provided over 1 million hours of care to tens of thousands of clients in Herefordshire, since their first visit on Christmas Day in 1993. An afternoon tea was organised for all current staff and clients to celebrate the achievement, with founders Michael and Sharon King attending. Kemble at Home provide support in people’s own homes, from companionship, to complex moving and handling.
Dominic King, Managing Director of Kemble at Home, and son of founders Michael and Sharon King, said: “We are thrilled to have reached this milestone, and it is a testament to all the amazing work our carers do, day to day, helping support those members of the community to carry on living how they want to live.”
Kemble registered manager Jason Walker said it was an exception in the home care sector to have a family owned and run company trading for so long.
"We see it as a great compliment, and we try our best to look after our staff as well as we look after our clients," he said.
